WER’s work around the world is in close partnership with local organisations who understand the needs of their communities at grassroots levels. By working together we seek to develop long-term strategies to improve the lives of children, their families and communities. Through these partnerships, WER is empowering local communities to build a brighter future for their children.
In times of crisis, such as the aftermath of an earthquake and other natural disasters, WER works together with other agencies to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our response.
WER is also a member of BOND, Evangelical Alliance, Global Hand, Grow Up Free From Poverty, ImpACT, VIVA and other networks and coalition groups which seek to raise awareness of child poverty, disability, international aid and development. We believe in advocating on behalf of our partners to institutions in the UK to encourage the implementation of policies which will be of benefit to the development programmes we are engaged with around the world.
