A new maternity clinic at the David Livingstone Memorial Cinic in Lilongwe, Malawi, was officially opened on 23rd August 2006. The state-of-the-art maternity unit, which is called the City of Glasgow Maternity Unit, was constructed and equipped thanks to support from WER and associated agencies and stake-holders.
