Founded initially in 1995 following the genocide as an Emergency Baby Care Centre, the project now cares for 50 of these babies who have now grown up and live within the CRIB community within family units.
The King’s School was founded to provide education for all the orphans but is now drawing children from the local community who wish to benefit from the high quality education.
WER has purchased two properties which are used as homes for the orphans and which includes leisure centre giving the children space and time for relaxation.
